Miami #3

Home is where our family is! Right now home is Miami and I love it! It has been a little while since I decided to give up all control of my life to God. I can tell you that ever since I did this there has never been a situation that I have really stressed about. I realize that my life has a purpose and a plan and most importantly is that the one who is running the show knows it all from the beginning to the end and He loves me. With this assurance I am able to see my life and the people I come in contact with in a whole new light, "it was meant to be like this" is my motto. This has changed my life forever. I know now more than ever that we were sent to Miami for a reason. I have met this wonderful woman. Well I really met her our first Sunday here at church but spent the day with her and her daughter at the beach. She shared with me her life story and I was in awe. I was amazed by her faith and strength. As we talked and shared our stories she often told me that I was an inspiration to her. I felt there was no way that could be true, I have not been through such hard trials and come through them like she had. She has reminded me that friendship can blossom in an instant.

We had a fantastic day together! She took us to Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, FL. That is such a fun area. There was the beach, a playground, a splash pad, a snack bar, and on the weekends there is a carousel. We spent the morning on the beach talking all about homeschool (she is a veteran homeschool mom with one in college, one in HS and one in 1st grade (talk about inspiration)). The kids had a blast playing with her daughter and other kids on the beach, swimming and building sand castles. After we had lunch (still hate eating at the beach, no matter how hard you try everything always ends up covered in sand.) the kids went back to swim. After a few minuets we heard Bobby and Eva yell and come running out of the water. "SOMETHING STABBED ME!", Bobby yelled. "SOMETHING BIT ME!" , cried, Eva. As I was inspecting their wounds, my friend suggested we take them to the life guard tower. After talking to and showing the "wounds" to life guard he confirmed our suspicions, it was a jelly fish! He poured vinegar on their skin to stop the stinging. Needless to say that beach time was over. We walked over and played at the park for a little while, until the kids were ready to move on. Up next was the splash pad. We all had fun in the water. We had a day full of fun in the sun and wonderful conversation.

I love all the people we get the privilege of meeting and getting to know. I love all the places we get to go. I love all the experiences we get to have.

Their welts from the jellyfish. Eva on her thigh, Bobby on his side.
(not sure if you can see them)

Playing at the splash pad.

After playing for so long at the splash pad the water started to
pool on the grass near by. The mud puddle was calling
their names!
Other random pics I had on my phone!............................
Giving Daddy a massage. They each got paid $.50!

Eva pretending she is a turtle with her car seat!

Lindy at the movies. She wanted to hold the drink.
She didn't care that is was as big as her.
